Goodbye Costa Rica. You may not have won the World Cup, but you have won my heart. We will miss you.

koolthing:

sexual education really needs to include hours of explaining how genitals actually work and showing pictures of how they can look and how there’s literally NO look that’s gross in any way. sexual education needs to bust myths that people actually think are true, for example that…

I love you.

  • Question: You mentioned Blackburn winning the league, but from my recollection of it they were renowned for basically spending big and winning it for that. I think City a good thing because the league had gotten stale, the same teams finished in the top 4 every year, Manchester City changed that. They made everyone better as well, because teams have had to improve to keep pace. To be fair to them as well, all the successful teams buy their way there, from liverpool, united and real madrid. Except Atleti. - tallmansramblings

    fifaworldwar:

No, they weren’t. Blackburn did buy a lot, but they bought incredible players for low prices. The team that spent the most that year was United who spent about 20 million pounds and finished 2nd that year to Blackburn. Another case for Modern Football, excessive wealth, and how 20 million were the big spenders and how that number has multiplied fivefold today, making it virtually impossible for just about any team to really compete in the Prem. I mean fuck, City in the last 5 years have spent over a billion dollars on players, you think Liverpool have the capability or foreign royalty to drop a billion dollars? More wealth was poured into football, which was not a good thing, it has ruined the goddamn game.

AND WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE SAME TEAMS FINISH TOP FOUR EVERY YEAR, CHELSEA, CITY, ARSENAL, AND UNITED TOOK A YEAR OFF.  THEY DID NOT MAKE ANYONE BETTER, THEY MADE THE LEAGUE STALE, AND AGAIN WHAT IN HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? CITY DOESN’T EVEN PLAY FAST PACE FOOTBALL, THEY OVERLOAD THE OPPOSITION’S THIRD WITH PATIENT PASSING THROUGH THE MIDFIELD AND PLAY THROUGH BALLS AT THE EDGE OF THE BOX AND THEN CUT THE BALL BACK FOR A CLOSE RANGE GOAL 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES.

And no, you’re not being fair by throwing in Liverpool into a group of teams that they couldn’t dream of spending anywhere close to as much as. You really think Liverpool have the same transfer targets as United and Madrid? You really think Liverpool have the fucking capability of buying the Premiership? Fuck no, dude. We got to where we got by playing ballsy, attacking football by players who would give their life for the team and a manager who took each match one game at a time and picked a side, a formation, tactics, and general strategy accordingly. We played style of football that no one in the Premiership has seen in some time.

You’ve put about as much thought into that ask as I put into scratching my balls at 5 in the morning when I have to take a piss before going back to sleep.

Couldn’t have said that better myself.
